WOOD-FREE PAPER SHOPPERS
Wood-free paper is free of wood particles and lignin (a chemical compound that is mostly derived from wood). Wood free paper can be made from wheat, rice, cotton, bananas, hemp, sugar cane, etc. Most wood free papers are a blend of natural fibers, post-consumer waste and/or agricultural waste - an ideal mix for reducing the need for virgin wood pulp paper. Superior quality printing. 100% Bio-Degradable and Recyclable. . Similar in cost to wood pulp paper.
BIO-DEGRADABLE POLY
This technology is based on a very small amount of additive being introduced into the manufacturing process which will change the behaviour of the plastic. The additive will not alter the appearance of the plastic. The plastic will eventually fragment and be consumed by bacteria and fungi after the additive has reduced its molecular structure to a level which permits living micro-organisms access to the carbon and oxygen. Bags treated with this additive will retain their properties based on the shelf life desired by the manufacturer. Bio-degradation usually does not commence for 12 months and is completed within 24 months in a landfill site.
